This 3 day Uganda Gorilla tour, will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla tracking covering an area of 321 square kilometers the oldest forests lasting over 25,000 years. You will be able to trek one of the 12 habituated mountain gorilla groups besides that you will be able to see other primates like the red-tailed monkeys, baboons, chimpanzees, black and white Columbus monkeys etc.its confirmed that this forest is a home to 120 mammals, 310 butterflies, 51 reptiles, 163 tree species, 350 species of birds to mention but a few. Gorilla trekking takes about 2-8 hours and for those into hiking will have a great time climbing up the rolling hills through the rush vegetation.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have breakfast very early in the morning before 7:00am our guide/driver will pick you up from your destination. You will be briefed about the whole safari before you begin your journey of about 463.7 kilometers approximately 8-9 hours’ drive from Kampala to the south western part of Uganda via masaka road. On your way there is a local drum and craft making community and souvenirs. You may wish to have a visit here, as you proceed have a stopover at the equator for pictures/photos, feel free to buy crafts as you proceed to mbarara town where you will have your lunch from.
After lunch drive to bwindi impenetrable national park of which to u will arrive late in the afternoon. Check in at the lodge refresh, relax whole evening, diner and overnight

Day 2: Gorilla trekking- Bwindi Forest
After an early morning breakfast our guide/driver will pick you and drive to the headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers about the do’s and not’s while in the park. You will also be allocated to groups of about 8 of which you will start off the trekking of these gentle giants as directed by a ranger. Experience an amazing memorable view of these mountain gorillas feed, play and how they spend their day to day life, interact with the animals for about 2 hours or even up to 8 hours depending on the movements and location of the mountain gorillas.
You are required to have jungle boots for the muddy and steep conditions, rain coats in case of rain etc. On meeting the gorillas you will spend one hour with them as you take photos. Later drive back to the lodge have lunch relax and in the evening you may opt to visit the Batwa community interact with them about their culture, storytelling and culture dances which I bet you will be amazed then have diner and overnight.

Day 3: Departure back to Kampala
Have an early breakfast, check-out at your lodge and drive back to kampala take your final pictures as you pass through the rolling hills with terraces and lush vegetation of different areas. Have lunch in mbarara town and a stopover at mbambire drum makers point, you can buy some drums and crafts then proceed to kampala arriving late in the afternoon. The guide/driver will drop you to your drop point.
